Cloud Video Surveillance (CCTV) – No NVR Required, Less Maintenance, Extremely Flexible
A Cloud Hosted Video Management System (VMS) also known as a VSaaS offers a number of advantages over ‘on-premise’ VMS’s (e.g., DVR, NVR). For example, with a traditional on-premise NVR, if a business has 5 locations where IP surveillance cameras are desired, then it would need to purchase and maintain 5 NVR’s, one at each site. Not so with a VSaaS which can easily handle all 5 sites (or more) and not require any on-premise hardware recorders at any of them.
